New Resolution: To Be a Better Blogger
But you guys missed it! I had another moment of panic recently and I didn’t blog it! I know you’re all disappointed to have missed yet another one of my psychotic breaks from reality. That one was – again – how writing short can seriously suck, career-wise. I know, I know. I need to start finding new things to panic about. I’ll try next time.
Ollie is doing really well. Aside from the fact that he just hacked up half his breakfast on my carpet. My cream-colored carpet. Why do I always end up with cream-colored rugs and carpets? In the last two weeks it’s gone from, “Not bad. Could use a sweeping” to “Oh my god. Where did THAT come from?” And before you worry, he’s not sick. He just ate too fast.

You are so funny!
That's why we miss it so much when you don't blog.
And even though you don't need to apologize for not blogging...I forgive you for not sharing your most recent psychotic break panic attack. :)
The phenomenon of the cream carpet is a mystery, but one I also share. ;)
Oh! And the wise and sagacious author says thank you for the kind words regarding the apple from the tree analogy. :)

I can't blame you for your blogging breaks - I'm the worst for it.
And pets, yeah, they puke. Do you have just the one dog? He is very cute!
LOL Lara. You mean you don't want to watch me bang my head against a brick wall? Fun for everyone, you know!
As for the carpet, it never fails. You're wearing black when the person you're visiting has a white cat. Or the dog puts muddy paw prints on your cute white capris. *sigh* Murphy's Law at work.
h.e., just the one dog right now. Believe me, he's plenty! I think we might consider getting another at some point to keep him company.

"When my Ulysses comes home.
(Woof-Woof, Wag-wag...)"
I don't know Sela.
Two kids will keep each other company.
I recommend it.
Two dogs will make twice the mess for you to clean up. :):)
But then again, they are so cute. ;-)

I can relate to the blogging issue. It's why I created a newsletter that's dif from the norm. It's the only way I know how to keep in touch with everyone on a regular basis because I can no longer juggle the multiple blogs and forums and groups, and...and...rofl!
Hi Sela. I followed you like a stray puppy over from Ivan's place. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for enjoying "The Crush" that Ivan published on his blog. You can tell a dog lives in our house!

Sela,
What happened to the post for Wed Jan. 24--like today!
Something I'd said?
Lara, we've been considering it. He ate his bed today, though. That's not going to make his case sympathetic.
Zinnia, I know what you mean. It's why I blog instead of doing all those thousands of other things!
Welcome, ea! Loved "The Crush." It really captured those vulnerable teenage moments.
Ivan, no, it's nothing you said! My website designer is trying to make my blog match up and the graphic was giving her fits. I'm trying to leave the blog be (aside from comments, obviously) until she can get it worked out.
But I have a brand newly designed website now! It's wicked exciting -- check out http://www.selacarsen.com
Or you can click on the link in my sidebar.

If you ever figure out how to be a regular blogger, please do share the secret. I'm awful at it!
And your blog is funny, so don't stop!
*sigh* and we pulled out all the carpets when we moved into our house, but as I was typing this comment...my son spilled his water all over the new couch. Thankfully it's only water...but it's all over the chaise, where I was planning to sit and write today. I'm going to clean it now, I guess.
